Hexagon Recruitment are seeking an exceptional Freight Account Manager for a trusted client with an office in Central London. 

Responsibilities: 

Develop new and existing business.

Handling all import & export sea freight operational aspects/queries from Customer, liaising with both external and internal customers and suppliers.

Ensuring customers receive the very best service at all times, in line with agreed SOPs, and to ensure a smooth and efficient movement of goods to the Customer.

Financial/Commercial
* Make Payments to the shipping lines
* Ensuring files are fully costed and profitable
* Raising invoices to customers

Operational
* Check that the shipping documents are present/in order
* Liaise with shipping lines/overseas agents and other forwarding agents
* Ensuring any queries are resolved as soon as possible
* Check the options re releases (Line Haul/Merchant Haul/Rail/Road)
* Arrange releases, PIN numbers and restitution
* Providing prompt and professional Customer Service to all clients
* General Administration
* Telephone work
