Interim Financial Controller

6-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Kidderminster Area | Hybrid Working

Salary: Equivalent to circa -85,000 per annum

T2M Resourcing is working with an established and successful business in the Kidderminster area to recruit an experienced Interim Financial Controller for an initial 6-month contract. We are looking for someone who can make an immediate impact and is available to start at short notice.

This role will suit a qualified (ACA or ACCA preferred), forward-thinking accountant with suitable experience. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will sit on the Senior Leadership team, owning month-end and year-end reporting processes, the production of all key external and internal financial reporting deliverables as well as statutory filing requirements and audit across both UK and International entities.

A key focus of the role initially will be the preparation of UK entity and subsidiary statutory year-end accounts across this complex business including the production of Group Consolidated Accounts (IFRS) and Tax returns. You will lead external audit, liaise with auditors responding to queries and questions.

To be successful in this Interim Financial Controller role, you will demonstrate the following:

• Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA/ ACCA)
• Strong technical accounting skills & financial control experience, ideally gained within an accountancy / audit practice.
• Must be familiar with IFRS
• Proven ownership of management reporting in a multi-entity group with international subsidiaries
• Interest in finance systems and process system improvement.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, senior interim assignment offering the opportunity to take ownership of key financial reporting deliverables within an established international business.

The initial priority will be to drive the statutory year-end reporting process, including subsidiary accounts, Group Consolidated Accounts under IFRS and external audit requirements.
