About the role Our cleint designs and builds products, e.g. automotive systems / industrial equipment . We need a Test Engineer to plan and run the tests that prove our products are safe, reliable and ready for customers. What you will do Plan and run tests on components, prototypes and finished products Set up test rigs, instruments and data logging equipment Analyse results and write clear test reports Find the cause of failures and work with design teams on fixes Write and update test procedures Keep test equipment calibrated and the lab safe and organised What you need Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent experience 2+ years in a test, validation or development engineering role Hands-on experience with test equipment, sensors and data acquisition Able to read engineering drawings and technical specifications Clear report writing and attention to detail Nice to have Environmental or durability testing experience (vibration, thermal, fatigue) Experience with test standards such as ISO 17025 Data analysis skills in Excel, MATLAB or similar ..... full job details .....
