The CNC Turner will programme, set and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, manufacture small batch and one-off components, create and edit CNC programmes from engineering drawings, carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment and ensure all finished components meet customer specifications and quality standards.Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes with Heidenhain controlsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsCreating and editing CNC programmesQuality inspection using measuring equipmentNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering disciplineStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: One-off CNC programming experienceExperience of X and Y axis machiningExperience within a precision engineering environment Additional Information Permanent positionOTE of £50,000 through regular overtimeStandard pension scheme20 ..... full job details .....
