HR Business Partner 9-month FTC 55,000 - 60,000 Watford, Hertfordshire (Hybrid) My client are seeking a commercially minded and confident HR Business Partner to support senior stakeholders and drive people strategy across the business. This is a true partnering role requiring strong stakeholder management capability, solid employee relations experience, and the confidence to challenge and influence at all levels. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, balancing business objectives with people-focused solutions while maintaining high standards of fairness, empathy, and emotional intelligence. Responsibilities:Partner with senior leaders to deliver the people strategy aligned to business goalsProvide confident, constructive challenge and push back where appropriateCoach and influence managers on performance, engagement, and organisational effectivenessLead and manage complex Employee Relations (ER) cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absenceEnsure consistent application of HR policies and employment lawSupport organisational change initiatives and workforce planningAnalyse people data to inform decision-making and improve performancePromote a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture Skills:CIPD qualified (desirable)Proven experience operating as a solid HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environmentStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility quicklyDemonstrated confidence in pushing
