OCS are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading groundworks contractor on a major residential development in Hertfordshire, with a project value of up to 12m. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Engineer to join a well-established contractor working on a significant residential scheme from the early stages of construction. The Role As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support across the project, working closely with the Site Management team to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme. Your responsibilities will include: Setting out and surveying across groundworks and civil engineering activities Providing technical support to the Site Management team Checking drawings, specifications and site measurements Ensuring works are constructed in accordance with design and specification Completing quality assurance and site documentation Monitoring levels, coordinates and tolerances Liaising with subcontractors and site teams Assisting with resolving technical issues on site Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress Requirements The successful candidate will have: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline Minimum 2 years'' experience working on groundworks projects Strong setting-out and surveying experience Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications Experience working on residential or similar large-scale ..... full job details .....
