Key Responsibilities CNC ProgrammerProgramming, setting and operating CNC turning machines.Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.Carrying out in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met.Making tooling and offset adjustments as required.Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.Working closely with the production team to meet customer deadlines. Essential Requirements CNC ProgrammerProven experience as a CNC Turner.Ability to independently programme, set and operate CNC lathes.Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.Experience machining complex components to tight tolerances.Ability to work with minimal supervision. Desirable Experience CNC ProgrammerExperience with Matsuura, Haas or Doosan machines.Knowledge of Fanuc controls.Experience operating Twin-Spindle Lathes.Previous experience within the Aerospace or Defence sectors.
