Our client is seeking a capable Senior Structural Engineer to join its Cambridge team, offering the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects while taking an active role in technical delivery, project coordination and client relationships. The successful candidate will contribute to projects from initial concept and detailed design through to tender, construction and completion. Responsibilities will include developing practical, cost-effective structural solutions, coordinating with architects and other design disciplines, carrying out design reviews and ensuring projects meet technical requirements, budgets and deadlines. The role will also involve undertaking structural surveys and preparing reports, monitoring project progress and resources, supporting fee proposals and helping to develop lasting relationships with clients. There will be opportunities to contribute to business development and promote the use of BIM and 3D design processes across projects. Our client is looking for an engineer with a relevant degree or master''s qualification and at least five years'' UK residency, as candidates must have lived in the UK for a minimum of five years.
