Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to play a key role in the continued expansion of its Cambridge office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven engineer who enjoys tackling complex design challenges, sharing technical knowledge and helping less experienced colleagues develop their skills.

Working across a varied portfolio of building structures projects, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver creative, practical and high-quality engineering solutions. The project portfolio includes MOD schemes, making this an especially interesting opportunity for candidates with an active UK Security Clearance (SC) or who are eligible to obtain one.

Alongside hands-on structural design, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, contribute ideas, and help maintain the high standards that underpin successful project delivery. This role would suit someone with natural leadership qualities, a proactive approach and the confidence to work collaboratively, bringing fresh thinking to complex engineering problems.

You will hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have a strong technical background, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and experience working within a multidisciplinary environment. Just as importantly, our client is looking for someone with ambition, creativity and the communication skills to inspire others while remaining open to new ideas.
