This is a Full Time, Permanent Position, with the salary offer of £38,500pa and expectation of out of hour call outs, on a rota basis. Please note a Full UK Driving Licence would be needed Closing date for applications is 22nd November 2026 Overall Objective To provide skilled carpentry and general maintenance support across the College estate, ensuring that buildings, utilities, plant, machinery, furniture, and equipment are maintained safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The postholder will carry out planned, preventative, and reactive work while maintaining accurate records under the direction of the Maintenance Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Carpentry and Joinery Fabricate, repair, install, and maintain furniture, fixtures, shelving, doors, windows, and other structural and non-structural elements across College buildings. Carry out carpentry and joinery work to a high standard, including measuring, cutting, fitting, finishing, and repairing timber and related materials. Assess, prioritise, and plan carpentry and general building tasks in coordination with the Maintenance Operations Manager. Assist with the planning, organisation, and set-up of College events requiring temporary structures or minor building adaptations.
