Carpenter / Multi Trader Social Housing Reactive MaintenanceLocation: Swindon and surrounding areasSalary: £38,000 £41,000 per annum, depending on experienceWe are recruiting an experienced Carpenter / Multi Trader to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in Swindon and the surrounding areas.This role would suit a skilled carpenter with experience in other trades who takes pride in delivering quality repairs and a professional, friendly service to residents.The roleCarrying out carpentry repairs, including doors, frames, skirting, architraves, kitchen units ectCompleting additional maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and decorating, depending on your skills.Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently, aiming for a first-time fix wherever possible.Working in occupied properties, treating residents and their homes with care and respect.Recording completed work accurately and following health and safety procedures.What we re looking forA strong carpentry background, with experience working as a Carpenter / Multi Trader.The ability to carry out basic repairs across other trades.Previous experience in social housing repairs or domestic property maintenance.A relevant carpentry qualification or equivalent practical experience.Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.A full UK driving licence.Salary£38,000 £41,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. ..... full job details .....
