Site Manager Required in Central London

GVR Solutions are working with a well-established specialist drylining and drywall contractor-who are-looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee commercial fit-out projects across Central London.

The company delivers high-quality drylining, drywall and associated internal packages for commercial developments and CAT A/CAT B fit-outs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in drylining, drywall, ceilings or commercial interiors who is looking to take responsibility for projects from mobilisation through to completion.

Key responsibilities of the Site Manager:

• Managing and coordinating drylining and drywall works on site
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Coordinating with the Main Contractor, Project Manager and other trades
• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting any issues
• Ensuring works are completed to specification and the required quality standards
• Managing site logistics, deliveries and materials
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and snagging
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site housekeeping
• Attending site meetings and providing progress updates
• Managing labour levels and productivity
• Liaising with clients, consultants and other stakeholders where required
• Ensuring project documentation and site records are maintained

The Site Manager must have/be:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within drylining, drywall or commercial fit-out
• Strong knowledge of internal fit-out and drylining packages
• Experience working on commercial projects in London
• Good understanding of programmes, drawings, specifications and site coordination
• Strong subcontractor and workforce management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive approach to quality, safety and programme
• Relevant site qualifications, ideally including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
