Infrastructure and Active Directory EngineerLocation: Onsite near BasingstokeClearance: Active DV RequiredContract: 6 monthsRate: 80 to 87 per hourIR35: Inside IR354 roles availableThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Active Directory Engineer to join a secure, business-critical IT environment.This is a hands-on third-line engineering role covering Windows and Linux servers, virtualisation, storage, backup, monitoring and Microsoft Active Directory.You will provide technical support across an established enterprise infrastructure while contributing to modernisation, upgrades and technology lifecycle projects.Candidates should have strong experience in either infrastructure engineering or Active Directory, with good working knowledge of the other.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide third-line support and resolve complex infrastructure and Active Directory issues.Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, replication and authentication.Support Windows Server 2016 onwards and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.Manage VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V virtualisation environments.Support SAN/NAS storage, backup, monitoring, clustering and disaster recovery.Undertake server builds, patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation.Support infrastructure modernisation and migration projects.Perform root cause analysis and manage technical incidents and changes.Maintain technical documentation and follow ITIL service management processes.Work closely with network, ..... full job details .....
