We are looking for an experienced Planner to manage and optimize production scheduling and material planning for a low-volume, high-complexity Engineering manufacturing environment.The ideal candidate will possess strong planning expertise, a deep understanding of engineering and manufacturing, as this role is critical to coordinating across multiple departments including assembly, test, machine shop, and repair departments. Key roles and ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage detailed production plans and work order schedules for complex assemblies and service/repair jobs.Coordinate material and component requirements in alignment with engineering drawings, BOMs, and customer specifications.Interface closely with the assembly, machine shop, purchasing and repair teams to understand capacity constraints and adjust schedules proactively.Ensure planning data in the ERP/MRP system is accurate and up to date, including routings, BOMs and lead times.Monitor work order progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to maintain delivery commitments.Collaborate with procurement and stores teams to avoid material shortages and manage long lead-time items.Support sales and customer service teams with realistic lead times and delivery dates for customer orders and repair work.Drive planning improvements and suppor
