Temporary Receptionist / Administrator is required for temporary cover for a busy Chesterfield-based business.

Hays Business Support is recruiting for a professional and reliable Temporary Receptionist / Administrator to support our client in Chesterfield with planned holiday cover throughout November and December.

The first date required is Friday 20th November, with additional dates available throughout December and a particular requirement for cover between Christmas and New Year.This would suit an experienced receptionist, administrator or customer service professional who enjoys working in a busy, customer-facing environment and can commit to a number of temporary cover dates.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Answering incoming telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner
• Transferring calls to the appropriate departments
• Meeting and greeting customers arriving on site
• Checking customers in when dropping off or collecting items for service
• Providing a professional front-of-house experience
• Supporting the Sales Managers with general administration
• Responding to basic customer enquiries and directing more detailed queries appropriately
• Ensuring reception remains organised and welcoming throughout the day

What you''ll need to succeed:

• Previous reception, administration or customer service experience
• Excellent telephone manner
• Confident and professional when dealing with customers face-to-face
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Availability for temporary holiday cover across December, particularly over the Christmas/New Year period
• Able to work 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday, with no weekend working
