At XPS, our vision is to create a vibrant place to work where difference is recognised as a strength and where talented people can flourish and achieve their highest potential.Our Pensions Administration business continues to grow and we are now looking for a Pensions Project Analyst to join our vibrant Administration Projects Team (APT) with hybrid working attached to any of our XPS office locations. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a pure pensions administration role, or pensions project role where they have gained knowledge and experience of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.The TeamOur award-winning pensions administration business puts scheme members at the heart of everything we do. Our services include scheme administration, first-time outsourcing, member communications and scam protection.Our Administration Projects Team (APT) team undertakes projects such as:GMP rectification/equalisationBuy-in/ Buy-outData CleansingAd hoc projects for example scheme closures, benefit rectifications, liability reduction exercisesMcCloud implementation: Public sector pension benefit rectification across police, fire, MOJ and LGPS pension schemes.Pension DashboardsThe RoleAs a Senior Pensions Project Analyst with XPS you will:Support Project Consultants to undertake project work; ensuring delivery in line with project deadlines and client expectations.Updating relevant pension administration databases and systemsPerforming basic calculationsRunning automated systems extracts.Data ManipulationReviewing Member RecordsWorking closely with other departments/teams to ensure project deliveryEnsuring the accurate updating of time recording system for both chargeable and non-chargeable activities and meeting required utilisation targetDue to the changing nature of the business, the job holder may from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within their capabilities.Your profileEssential CriteriaPrevious experience in a similar Pensions Project role or within BAU Pensions Administration.Previous Defined Benefit pensions experience.Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent.Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word.Excellent organisational and planning skills.Ability to work in advance of deadlines and prioritising multiple tasks.Able to see projects/tasks through to completion within given timescales.Willingness to learn.Able to follow instructions, procedures, policies and assimilate information quickly in a consistent manner.Able to take ownership and responsibility for own work.Enthusiastic, positive and flexible approach to work.Effective interpersonal skills.A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required to perform the duties - both numerical and written.Good oral and written communication skills.An active listener and able to follow through on instructions given.Able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team.Good Problem-Solving Skills.What we offer:We offer an attractive reward package, typical benefits can include:Competitive salaryParticipation in annual discretionary Bonus Scheme25 days holiday plus flexibility to buy or sell holidayFlexible Bank holidaysPension scheme, matching contribution structureHealthcare cash planFlexible Benefits Scheme to support you in and out of work, helping you look after you and your family covering Security and Protection, Health and Wellbeing, LifestyleLife Assurance cover, four times basic salaryXPS Rewards (offers High Street discounts and savings from retailers and services providers as well as offers available via phone)Employee Assistance Programme for you and your householdAccess to a digital GP servicePaid volunteering day when participating in Company organised eventsStaff referral scheme when you introduce a friend to XPSWhat next:If you feel XPS could be the next step on your career ladder, please apply directly via the links provided and we look forward to learning more about you.
