We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new-build housing development in Congleton for an initial period of 5 weeks.This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive, hands-on Site Manager who enjoys being actively involved on site, leading by example and working closely with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the development.The successful candidate will be confident managing day-to-day site operations, maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality and programme delivery, while bringing a positive attitude and strong team spirit.Key ResponsibilitiesOverseeing the day-to-day running of the site.Coordinating and managing subcontractors and site operatives.Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times.Monitoring work progress and ensuring quality standards are met.Managing site activities to keep the project on programme.Leading by example and maintaining a hands-on approach.Working collaboratively with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery.Essential RequirementsProven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within new-build residential developments.Valid SMSTS certificate.Valid CSCS card.Valid First Aid certificate.Recent References Excellent organisational and communication skills.A proactive, practical and hands-on approach.A positive attitude with a strong team-player mentality.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is experienced, approachable and not afraid to roll up their sleeves.
