Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is a growing structural engineering consultancy based in Birmingham, looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our close-knit team.

The workload is primarily focused on a diverse mix of residential and commercial projects, ranging from domestic alterations and extensions through to multi-unit developments and commercial refurbishments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with clients, and being part of a supportive local consultancy where your input genuinely matters.

The Senior Structural Engineer role;

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports
• Liaise directly with architects, developers, contractors, and clients
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians where required
• Attend site visits and project meetings across the region

Requirements for this Senior Structural Engineer position;

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Several years'' experience in a consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards
• Experience working on residential and commercial structures
• Proficient with structural analysis and design software
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership preferred
