Senior Network Engineer Job Overview The role is for a Senior Network Engineer responsible for customer on-boarding and general support as well as maintenance upgrades and projects. The ideal candidate will be part of a team responsible for managing the company''s network environment including day to day support, client onboarding and support as well as technical upgrade projects. This role requires a strong understanding of Networking concepts and protocols, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric attitude. You will work closely with highly technical internal teams and end-users to ensure the smooth operation of the Aquis systems. This is a key role with huge scope to learn new skills. Preferred candidates will have some previous Financial / Banking experience along with Low-Latency and Multicast. Over time, this may develop into a Team Lead or Managers role so any previous experience and the desire to head in that direction would be beneficial. Responsibilities and Duties Monitor and support live Trading platforms during operational hours.Participate in a support rota of early/late shifts supporting exchange hours 7am - 6.30pm responding to any operational issues.
