Economics Teacher

Location: Sevenoaks

Contract: Temporary (with potential for long-term opportunities)

Start Date: January 2026

Pay: -130 to -200 per day (dependent upon experience, training and qualifications)

Term Time Teachers are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join a highly successful secondary school near Sevenoaks.

• Deliver high-quality Economics lessons across relevant secondary Key Stages.

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum and examination specifications.

• Develop students'' understanding of key economic concepts, including supply and demand, markets, inflation, unemployment and economic growth.

• Encourage students to develop analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Use real-world economic examples and current affairs to make learning relevant and engaging.

• Monitor student progress, assess learning and provide constructive feedback to support academic development.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience teaching Economics in UK secondary schools.

• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
