Contract: Part-time, temporary until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position.

Academics are working in partnership with a highly regarded independent school in the Sevenoaks area who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Studies and Economics Teacher to join their team from January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate subject specialist to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5 on a part-time basis, delivering engaging and stimulating lessons to pupils preparing for their GCSE and A-Level examinations.

The initial placement will run from January until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Teaching Business Studies and Economics across KS4 and KS5.

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.

• Supporting pupils in developing their subject knowledge and achieving their academic potential.

• Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

• Contributing positively to the wider department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching Business Studies and Economics at KS4 and KS5.

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.

• Able to inspire, motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities.

• A committed and professional approach to teaching and learning.
