You will help pupils develop confidence in English and Mathematics, overcome barriers to learning and prepare effectively for the demands of Year 6 and the end-of-Key Stage 2 SATs.You will play an important role in motivating pupils, reinforcing classroom learning and helping them develop positive study habits and resilience.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver one-to-one and small-group interventions in English and Mathematics to support progress towards Year 6 SATs.Work alongside class teachers to reinforce learning objectives and identify pupils who require additional support.Support Year 5 pupils with a smooth transition into Year 6 by developing key literacy, numeracy and study skills.Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, motivation and a growth mindset.Help ..... full job details .....
