The Role As Strategic Finance Manager, you will provide strategic financial leadership and expert advice to senior stakeholders, helping to drive informed decision-making, financial sustainability, and value for money across Council services. You will lead financial planning, reporting, compliance, and performance management activities while supporting corporate priorities and service transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned to the Council''s objectives. Providing strategic financial advice to Directors, Heads of Service, and elected Members. Overseeing budget setting, medium-term financial planning, forecasting, and financial reporting.
