We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to play a key role in driving business performance through financial insight, strategic analysis, and effective commercial partnering.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this position will lead a small finance function while working closely with senior stakeholders to support decision-making, profitability, and long-term growth.-

• Key Responsibilities
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial analysis, commercial insight, and strategic recommendations that support business objectives and growth plans.
• Lead and develop the finance team, creating a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring robust financial models, accurate reporting, and clear visibility of business performance.
• Produce and review management information and KPI reporting, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities while providing proactive recommendations to stakeholders.-
• Drive financial control and cost management initiatives, promoting strong governance, commercial discipline, and effective risk management across the business.-
• Support business improvement and investment decisions through financial evaluations, business cases, and profitability analysis.-
• Oversee statutory compliance, audit coordination, and financial reporting requirements, ensuring deadlines are met and accurate records are maintained.-

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Significant experience in a commercial finance, finance business partnering, or financial management role.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Experience of ERP systems and management reporting tools.
• Commercially astute with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing or operational sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.-
