Senior Design Coordinator - Civils & Energy projects-

SSA are currently recruting for a Senior Design Coordinator-to join a leading contractor within Civil Engineering to work across their portfolio of renewable energy projects across the UK & Europe. They are currently involved in utility-scale battery energy storage systems projects, wind-farms, substation, and data centre projects and are looking for someone with a background working within this environment to lead the deisgn coordination for their complex civil works.-

Responsibilities will include:-

• Taking ownership of design coordination from contract award through to project delviery & handover
• Ensure designs are fully approved & compliant before the beginning of the construction programme
• Undertaking design reviews for buildability, safety, and compliance to industry and company standards
• Risk identification, management, and awareness
• Providing clear direction and leadership to the wider design team
• Involved in the promotion of the use of BIM throughout the schemes
• Stakeholder management during design development

Essential

• Qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent (HNC / HND / BSc / MSc / BEng / MEng etc)
• Design experience within similar projects
