Job Description - Voids Supervisor

Location: Thame

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Voids Supervisor to join our client''s team, overseeing void property works across a large geographical contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating void works, ensuring properties are brought back up to the required lettable standard within agreed timescales and in line with quality and compliance requirements.

We are open to candidates who have previously worked as an operative within the voids sector, provided they have a good understanding of the voids process and have gained supervisory experience.

• Supervising and coordinating void property works across a large geographical area.

• Overseeing operatives and subcontractors to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the required standard.

• Monitoring progress of void properties and ensuring turnaround targets are achieved.

• Carrying out property inspections and quality checks.

• Ensuring works are completed in line with relevant SOR (Schedule of Rates) codes.

• Identifying any additional works required and ensuring these are correctly recorded and reported.

• Managing workloads and prioritising jobs to ensure properties are returned to a lettable standard as quickly as possible.

• Maintaining regular communication with internal teams, contractors and other key stakeholders.

• Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements.

• Previous experience working within the voids sector, with a good understanding of void property works and processes.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

• Experience and understanding of SOR (Schedule of Rates) codes.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage workloads across a large geographical area.

• Full UK driving licence.

This is a large geographical contract, so the successful candidate will need to be comfortable travelling extensively throughout the working week to visit void properties across the contract area.
