Response Repairs Surveyor Location: South West EnglandRate: NegotiableContract: 6 months Spencer Clarke Group are supporting a local authority to appoint a Response Repairs Surveyor within Housing Services. Supporting the end-to-end delivery of responsive repairs and relets, ensuring work is completed to a high standard, right first time, and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and value for money. Responsibilities include Completing pre and post inspections for responsive repairs, exchanges and relets Diagnosing defects and specifying remedial works, working directly with tenants and customers Raising and ordering works through internal systems and monitoring progress through to completion Overseeing the quality and delivery of works completed by in-house trade teams and external contractors Taking ownership of repairs and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved promptly Coordinating specialist works and dependencies, including arranging and checking items such as scaffolding requirements Supporting cost control by monitoring expenditure and ensuring value for money is achieved Maintaining strong communication with customers throughout the repairs process and managing expectations About you Competent working with HHSRS, including applying it confidently in housing inspections Strong experience dealing with Damp and Mould cases within a housing or property setting Background in responsive repairs, property maintenance, relets or similar housing inspection work ..... full job details .....
