Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and dedicated English Teacher to work across a range of excellent secondary schools in North London. The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have a proven history of securing excellent pupil outcomes in English, including at GCSE level.
• Be capable of delivering engaging and effective lessons that inspire a love of learning.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Be a dynamic and ambitious practitioner who is committed to driving student progress.
• Have experience supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural, and academic needs.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the current curriculum.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:

• Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all relevant compliance and vetting checks.
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
• Provide two professional references relating to work with children.
