Job Title: Technical Support Officer - Communal Lift Services

Location: Newham

Rate: -27.81 PAYE

Term: 3 months initially

Our client, a leading organisation in the housing sector, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Technical Support Officer - Lifts to join their Housing Property Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about ensuring safety and compliance in residential environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Communal Lift Service.
• Coordinate lift servicing, inspections, and maintenance activities across the Council''s housing portfolio.
• Monitor compliance activities to ensure timely completion of statutory inspections and servicing programmes.
• Engage with lift contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Act as a point of contact for residents regarding lift-related inquiries, promoting excellent customer service.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• A-Level education or equivalent experience in housing, business administration, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of administrative processes and compliance management.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in a housing or property services environment is essential.
• Experience providing administrative support within housing, compliance, repairs, maintenance or property services.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Knowledge of lift maintenance and safety regulations.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering or property services.
