Facilities Technical Officer Location: Worcestershire Contract: Temporary - 6 months Hourly Rate: 25.00- 35.00 per hour (Umbrella) Role Overview An opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Technical Officer to support the effective management of planned cyclical services and reactive maintenance across a range of housing and property assets. The successful candidate will help maintain the condition, safety and compliance of buildings, ensuring that properties meet statutory requirements, industry standards and best practice guidance. The role will cover a variety of property types, including communal residential blocks, temporary accommodation, leasehold properties, supported housing and other managed housing assets. A key focus will be ensuring compliance across the six principal areas of building safety: Gas, Electrical, Fire, Water Hygiene, Asbestos and Lift Safety. Key Duties and Responsibilities Hard Facilities Management Manage cyclical servicing schedules for building plant, equipment and maintenance systems. Review and interpret service reports, identifying any necessary remedial actions. Allocate follow-up works to contractors and directly employed trades staff. Provide technical advice and support for responsive repairs, cyclical servicing and planned maintenance programmes.
