An Electrical Engineer in Glasgow will provide temporary electrical and general building maintenance at a static shopping centre site. The work spans fault-finding, facilities tasks and coordination with the client and operational teams.

The Role

As the Electrical Engineer, you''ll:

• Carry out electrical maintenance, including changing light fittings.
• Complete basic building maintenance and fault-finding.
• Assist with facilities issues and general handyman tasks.
• Work closely with the client, service managers and operational teams.
• Potentially support fire alarm requirements as the site develops.

• Electrical qualifications and practical fault-finding ability.
• A willingness to undertake basic fabric maintenance alongside electrical work.
• The ability to work independently and communicate with clients and management.
• Ideally, a City & Guilds Level 3 electrical qualification and working knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

• £25.20–£27.60 per hour.
• A six-week temporary contract, working two days a week, Monday to Friday as required.
• Overtime available.
• Potential for a permanent position and progression into a supervisory role.
