This permanent role focuses on electrical engineering within the distribution, transmission, renewables, and TandD industries.Key Responsibilities:Electrical DesignPerform and manage the development of electrical EPC and ICP system designs from preliminary to detailed statusConduct steady state, dynamic and grid code compliance studiesSelect appropriate electrical components, equipment, and materialsEnsure compliance with engineering design packagesAlign electrical and civil design interfacesResolve complex technical design issues and act as a primary electrical design authorityLeadershipManage and support in-house electrical design resources and external contractorsProvide mentorship and technical guidanceReview and approve electrical design outputsSupport training and development of team membersCommercial, Tendering and Procurement SupportProvide technical input during tendering to develop preliminary electrical designsSupport the development of tender pricingDefine key equipment specifications with the Procurement DepartmentPrepare scopes of work for subcontractors/vendors and support tender evaluationJob Requirements:Experience in ICP, electrical engineering, electrical design, and electricalKnowledge of UK Grid Code, network operator standards, and applicable UK design standards and regulationsProficiency with electrical system ..... full job details .....
