One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Head of Contracts Management on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week. Overview: The role will be based in Hereford, on site a minimum of 2 days per week. This will be an initial 6 month interim role with the potential to be extended. Economy and Environment are looking to consolidate its approach to contracts management with the aim to bring other major contracts into scope. A key part of the role will be to engage with key stakeholders to bring additional contracts into scope. The Contracts Management team reports to the Director Commercial Services who has responsibility for Contracts Management within the Economy and Environment Directorate, Property Services including Estates, Investment and Retail, Facilities Management and Capital Programmes, and broader commercial activity across the council.
