Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced-Quality Engineer to join our Technical Ceramics business in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in driving quality performance and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate customer complaints, process failures and internal non-conformances
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Analyse quality data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
• Support quality procedures, inspection standards and control plans
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality
• Support internal and external audits and quality management system compliance
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on quality-related matters
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the site

About You

• Experience in a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar technical quality role within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit requirements
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions and problem-solving techniques
• Knowledge of SPC, inspection methods and manufacturing process controls
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and quality data
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement
