As the Management Accountant, you will take full ownership of the property cost base across the stores acting as a key partner to Property and Finance, along with Buying and Merchandising teams. This role goes beyond reporting, you''ll be expected to analyse trends, challenge costs, highlight risks early and make recommendations that directly impact store profitability. What You''ll Be DoingBusiness partnering with cost centre ownersAccounting for Rent, Rates, Utilities and Service Charges for all stores across UK Preparation of weekly performance reports including analysis of resultsInvolvement in production of the month end management accountsAccruals and prepaymentsPandL variance analysisRegularly review business costs and challenge as necessary to reduce costsPreparation of supporting schedulesSetting up and amending leases within OracleBalance sheet reconciliationsBudgeting and forecasting
