Astute''s Nuclear Team is partnering with a leading utilities and infrastructure services provider, recognised for its technical excellence and commitment to sustainability, to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Hinkley Point C site.

This permanent role is hybrid and offers up to -75,000 plus benefits.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will:

• Managing NEC contracts from procurement through to final account
• Leading the commercial administration of allocated projects and work packages
• Managing commercial risk and opportunity to maximise project performance
• Producing and reviewing forecasts, cost reports, and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)

To be considered, you must have:

• Significant experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor role within a construction, infrastructure, or engineering environment.
• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of NEC contracts, including change management and compensation events.
• Proven experience in cost reporting, forecasting, CVRs, and financial performance management.

• Full UK Drivers License along with rights to work in the UK

It would be an advantage, but is not essential, to have:

• Experience within the nuclear sector or other highly regulated environments is desirable.
• Membership of RICS, CICES, or equivalent professional body, or working towards chartered status, is desirable.
