What you''ll do As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of projects and support the development of commercial best practice across the wider team. Key responsibilities include Managing NEC contracts from procurement through to final account. Leading the commercial administration of allocated projects and work packages. Managing commercial risk and opportunity to maximise project performance. Producing and reviewing forecasts, cost reports, and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs). Ensuring robust cost control, financial governance, and accurate commercial reporting. Managing compensation events, change control, and subcontractor accounts. Preparing and agreeing applications for payment and final accounts. Supporting procurement activities and subcontract package management. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with client and stakeholder commercial teams. Providing commercial advice and support to project and operational teams. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, client requirements, and company procedures. Supporting dispute avoidance and resolution activities where required. Mentoring and developing Assistant and Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and technical support.
