This Learning Disabilities Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.Learning Disabilities Social Worker responsibilities include:Case Load ManagementCompleting reviews and assessmentWorking alongside other agenciesWorking to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults.Promoting service users'' choices, control and independenceSupporting service users to live safely and independently in their own homes.Assessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homes.Reviewing residential, nursing home or day centre placementsWorking effectively with other professionalsRequirements / Experience preferred:3+ Years experience post qualification.Must have experience in learning disability social work teamGood assessment analytical skillsGood communication skillsGood negotiation skillsLegally literate able to undertakeMCA, BI, CoP work.SWE RegistrationEnhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)Eligibility to work in the UK.Benefits of working with Ackerman Pierce: Your own personal consultant
