There will be an additional premium paid for hours past 6pm.The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and programming our wood machinery, including CNC and 5-axis Router to produce parts for assembly into finished units for retailers and brands. The role will require translating programmes into high-quality output, with accuracy and in line with production targets.Key Responsibilities:Set and operate wood machinery, such as CNC, Router, Beam Saw and Edge bander. Various brands including Homag and Biesse.Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing data to produce parts.Set up tooling, calibrate machinery, and monitor production runs to maintain accuracy and efficiency.Work closely with the design and engineering teams to optimise CNC programs and production flow.Ensure that materials are available for jobs and liaising with purchasing as to their due dates where required.Booking finished job tickets on the system and moving goods to their next location in the buildingCommunicating issues, quality concerns, shortages, material problems etc quickly and clearly.Perform quality checks on finished products using basic maths to ensure compliance with specifications.Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues
