Purchase Ledger Clerk£30,000 - £34,000 annuallyGlasgow08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday (Full-Time, Office-Based)Reed Accountancy is working with a national market-leading production business in Glasgow to find an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and highly successful business where you will play a vital role in supporting the purchase ledger team.Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of purchase ledger responsibilities, whilst also assisting with wider transactional finance duties when required.The main responsibilities of this role are:Processing high volumes of purchase invoices, matching PO numbers and GRNsManaging company expenses and ensuring correct allocation and credit card reconciliationsPerforming supplier reconciliations and reviewing supplier statementsAssisting in the organisation and execution of payment runsSupporting the Head of Accounts with month-end activitiesOverseeing the AP inbox and resolving supplier and payment queriesTo succeed in this role, you will need:Proven experience in a transactional accounts role (e.g. Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger)Working knowledge of accounting software packagesStrong attention to detail and high levels of accuracyA proactive, hard-working approach with the ability to manage workload effectivelyStrong organisational and time management skillsGood communication skills and the ability to work ..... full job details .....
