Our client is seeking a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join its expanding water and wastewater infrastructure team on a permanent basis. You will support the delivery of wastewater modelling, drainage, flood risk and environmental improvement projects for water companies, local authorities, developers and other infrastructure clients.Key Responsibilities:Developing computer models to investigate wastewater network issues, flooding risks and investment needsAnalysing hydraulic, environmental and network data to support feasibility studies and outline solutionsBuilding, calibrating and verifying wastewater and dirty water network modelsUsing modelling outputs to support planning, operational assessments and engineering solution developmentPreparing technical reports and other project deliverables, clearly presenting findings and recommendationsUndertaking site visits and liaising with clients, contractors, stakeholders and other professional bodiesSupporting tender responses, fee estimates, technical innovation and continuous improvement at senior levelsJob Requirements:Experience in wastewater, waste water or dirty water hydraulic modelling and distribution networksUnderstanding of urban drainage modelling using InfoWorks ICM or InfoWorks CSKnowledge of GIS packages such as ArcGIS or MapInfoAbility to analyse data and produce accurate technical reportsUnderstanding of the UK water industry and relevant regulatory requirementsExperience in model build, calibration, ..... full job details .....
