Our client Cambridgeshire County Council is looking for a Family Help senior social worker to join their Family Help Team.The Family Help Team works with children and families across a range of statutory social work interventions. The role will cover assessment, safeguarding and court work, supporting children and families from initial assessment through to longer-term intervention where required.The role will include:Completing Child and Family AssessmentsChild in Need and Child Protection workUndertaking Section 47 enquiriesDirect work with children and familiesDeveloping and reviewing plans to reduce risk and improve outcomesWorking closely with partner agencies and professionalsPLO and court work, including progressing cases through care proceedings where requiredThe team is looking for Senior Social Workers with strong statutory children''s social care experience, ideally across assessment, safeguarding and court work.
