About the role:
- Provide tailored support to students with complex and challenging behaviours, fostering their personal and academic growth in a nurturing environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students, using individualized communication techniques to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create consistent, structured routines while remaining flexible to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Use resilience, persistence, and problem-solving skills to address daily challenges and support studentsandrsquo; well-being and progress.
- Play a key role in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, ensuring every student feels valued and supported.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have the right to work within the UK
- DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
- Have experience working with students who have complex and challenging behaviours
- Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
- Be able to support the teacher in and around the classroom
- Work with small groups of children
