As a member of our Finance Team, you will be one of four Credit Controllers managing your own ledger of account customers, ensuring good customer relations and play a vital role in collecting the cash from our customers. Responsibilities Identify risk in relation to non-payment and proactively engage with the customers to resolve overdue payments, building rapport wherever possible. Carry out early intervention support in relation to risk around non-payment Play a major part in keeping Debtor Days within agreed target. Chase overdue debt by phone, following up by email and where necessary escalate to external collectors. Daily monitoring of the invoices mailbox ensuring that all customer correspondence is dealt with promptly. Reconcile customer accounts Negotiate and monitor payment plans with customers when necessary Oversee production of statement runs and subsequent stop process Aged Debtor reports for review by Senior Management Assisting with any other credit control processes as required (trade references, customer credit application, allocation of bank receipts) Experience/Skills Previous relevant experience in Credit Control An excellent level of attention to detail as the Sales
