Bristow Holland is working with a growing business in Ipswich that is looking for an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join their Technology Team.In this key role, you''ll act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring IT systems remain secure, stable, and high-performing. You''ll be involved in troubleshooting critical incidents, supporting IT projects, and helping to strengthen the overall IT infrastructure while providing support to colleagues across the business.Based at their modern office with hybrid working options, you''ll collaborate closely with Service Desk, 2nd Line teams, and project stakeholders to ensure technology runs smoothly and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical escalation point for complex IT incidents and system issues.Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.Maintain and optimise IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, and security systems.Monitor system performance and proactively improve reliability and resilience.Provide specialist technical input on IT projects and new technology initiatives.Work alongside Service Desk and 2nd Line teams to share knowledge and enhance team capability.Ensure timely resolution of escalated tickets and adherence to service level agreements.Develop and maintain technical documentation, processes, and troubleshooting guides.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.RequirementsE
