Role: 2nd Line MSP EngineerLocation: ReigateSalary: Up to 40,000 (DOE)Are you a confident and experienced 2nd Line Engineer looking to progress your career in a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment?We''re looking for a proactive, client-focused IT professional to join our growing technical support team in Reigate.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 2nd line support for a diverse client base, handling escalated technical issues via phone, email, remote tools, and occasionally on-site.Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, networking, and end-user systems.Support desktop environments (Windows 10/11), laptops, printers, and mobile devices, including MDM (e.g. Intune).Assist with firewall/router configurations, switch management, and on-site network setups.Contribute to system upgrades, migrations, patching, and client project rollouts.Ensure timely resolution of support tickets in line with SLAs and best practice standards. What We''re Looking ForProven experience in a 2nd line IT support role, ideally within an MSP environment.Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and desktop support.Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, switches).Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.Excellent communication and client-facing skills.Ability to manage and prioritise workloads in a busy support environment.
