The role will report directly to senior business leadership and work closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers and operational colleagues.This position offers the opportunity to shape a new commercial function within a well-established engineering business with a strong order book and ambitious growth plans.The business will consider either an established Managing Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step into leadership.Key responsibilities Lead the commercial management of structural steel and infrastructure projects.Manage, support and develop the Quantity Surveying team.Ensure NEC3 and NEC4 contracts are administered correctly.Oversee the management of compensation events and contractual change.Monitor project margin, cost, value and commercial risk.Ensure project performance is measured against the original tender and ..... full job details .....
