Quantity SurveyorLocation: Nottingham - Office basedI''m currently working with a well-established property services contractor who is looking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor, based out of their Nottingham office.The business delivers a range of planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes across the social housing sector, with a particular focus on kitchen and bathroom replacement schemes.This is a predominantly office-based position, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the commercial performance of projects, working closely with operational teams and supporting the successful delivery of ongoing programmes.The Role:Commercial management of planned maintenance and refurbishment contracts, predominantly kitchens and bathrooms.Producing and managing monthly CVRs, cost reports and cost ledgers.Monitoring project costs, budgets, forecasts and overall profitability.Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and applications for payment.Reviewing variations, measuring works and managing final accounts.Identifying commercial risks and opportunities to maximise project margins.Working closely with Contract Managers and operational teams to ensure commercial targets are achieved.Supporting tendering, pricing and procurement activities where required.About You:Must have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing, or planned maintenance.Knowledge of kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes ..... full job details .....
