Management Accountant Wednesbury, West Midlands Salary: 40,000 - 48,000 The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a multi-entity group environment. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you''ll take ownership of a standalone manufacturing subsidiary whilst supporting the wider finance function with accurate reporting, strong financial controls and continuous process improvement. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership and working closely with operational teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Produce monthly management accounts for a standalone manufacturing business. Take responsibility for the day-to-day finance operations, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control and payroll oversight. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Monitor daily cash flow, bank reconciliations and multi-currency bank accounts. Support treasury activities and manage invoice discounting reconciliations. Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and supporting schedules for month-end reporting. Provide financial analysis and reporting to support the Group Finance Director with the preparation of consolidated group accounts.
