The role is based at a Vehicle Maintenance Unit where you ll be carrying out fleet work, mainly on trailers but with some trucks and vans too.This is a hands-on role within a business that has been running for over 15 years. We re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work and can get the job done to a high standard.What you ll do as a HGV Technician: Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV trailers, trucks, and vansConduct safety inspections in line with DVSA standardsPerform diagnostic checks and fault finding on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsComplete MOT preparation and presentation when requiredEnsure all work is recorded accurately and completed to a high standardKeep the workshop and equipment clean, tidy, and safeWork to deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality and complianc What we re looking for: Qualified or time-served HGV TechnicianStrong knowledge of trailers and HGVsGood problem-solving skillsSomeone who can work well both independently and with colleagues What we offer: Excellent pay: £22.00 (days) / £26.40 (nights)4 on 4 off shift pattern enjoy a great work/life balanceOvertime available20 days annual leave plus an extra day off for your birthdayWellness programme a
